Chere' · For contractors · In beta

The contractor's back office.

Said like Sherrie. Photo in, signed job out, and the office work done from the truck. Built in Bandon by a licensed contractor who needed it first.

BETA NEW BUILD for contractors

Chere'

A back office for one-truck contractors.

Snap the room and say what's changing. Chere' draws three options from the photo and prices the job from the one your customer picks. Every measurement it read off the picture is marked for you to check, and nothing goes to the customer until you say yes. They see the before and after, accept from a link, and the deposit invoice goes out through Square.

FLUTTERAI RENDERSSQUARE

Named for Chere' Brazel Winters (Gigi), who kept our family's books.

I became the office.

In 2023 I came home to Bandon to work in my dad's contracting business. One truck, no office. So I became the office: bids, contracts, Oregon's required notices, invoices and the books. Twenty to thirty hours a week. A big bid took two of us a full day.

Most remodeling and repair contractors work alone, and every one of those hours comes off the job or off the family. I went looking for software that would take it. What I found handed you a login and walked away, and none of it built in Oregon's contract notices. So I built Chere'.

It runs the office at SeaBreeze today. A bid that took two of us a full day now takes about an hour.

Photo in. Signed job out.

  1. Photo in

Snap the room or the yard and say what's changing. A hand sketch or a set of plans works too.

  2. Options and a price

Chere' draws three directions from the photo, then prices the one your customer picks, from your own prices first.

  3. Your yes

Every number it measured off the picture is marked for you to check. Nothing goes to the customer until you approve it.

  4. The contract

Oregon's required notices go with every contract, from the board's own forms, so none get missed.

  5. Signed on their phone

The customer sees the before and after, reads the contract and signs from a link. You know who signed, and when.

  6. Deposit out

The deposit invoice follows the signature, through your own Square. What was paid shows up next to the job.

Nothing reaches a customer without your yes.

Chere' does the paperwork. You stay the contractor. It never sends a bid, a contract or an invoice on its own, and anything it read off a photo is flagged for you to check before a customer sees it. The price comes from your prices, and your work stays yours.

Each business runs on its own server, set up for that business alone. What Chere' keeps and why is on the privacy page, in plain words.

Set up in person, by the people who built it.

Most contractors won't learn new software alone, and they shouldn't have to. Before your first job I load your contract, your prices and your customers, then walk you through it on your own job. When you need help later, you text the person who set it up.

Right now Chere' is in beta with a few contractors on the South Coast, on iPhone and Android. If you run a one-truck shop doing repair, remodel or exterior work, text me and I'll show you on a job of yours.
