Winters Code ("we", "us", "our") operates the website winterscode.com and provides custom software development services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information you provide: When you submit our contact form, request a consultation, or sign a project agreement, we collect the name, email address, phone number, business name, and project details you choose to share with us.
Information collected automatically: Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) records standard server logs including IP address, browser type, referring page, and timestamps. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or cross-site cookies.
How We Use Information
We use the information you provide to respond to inquiries, prepare quotes, deliver contracted work, and communicate about active projects. We do not sell, rent, or share client information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Data Storage and Security
Client communications are stored in standard business systems (email, project management tools). Project code and assets are stored in private GitHub repositories. We follow industry-standard security practices including encryption in transit (HTTPS), row-level security on databases we operate, and regular dependency updates.
Third-Party Services
We use Cloudflare for hosting and DNS, Stripe for payment processing, and Supabase or similar managed backends for client applications when contracted. Each provider has its own privacy policy governing data they process on our behalf.
Your Rights

Children's Privacy
Winters Code services are intended for business clients and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
