Your site keeps running on its own. A care plan is for when you would rather not think about hosting, security updates, or the occasional edit, and want a real person who knows your site instead of a ticket queue.
A plan covers all of it, and the person answering is the person who built the site. The relationship does not end at launch.

The site kept current and locked down, with none of the 2 AM plugin breakage WordPress is known for.
Content edits
Real edits made for you: hours, prices, photos, a new page. Ten a month on Basic, unlimited reasonable edits on Pro.
Uptime monitoring
The site watched around the clock, so if something goes down I usually know before you do.
Quarterly tune-up
On Pro, a performance and SEO pass each quarter with the fixes made, not just a report.
Basic and Pro
Basic, starting at $75/mo: hosting, SSL, daily backups, security patches, ten content edits a month, and uptime monitoring. The essentials, covered.
Pro, starting at $250/mo: everything in Basic, plus unlimited reasonable edits, priority same-day turnaround, a quarterly performance and SEO pass with the fixes made, and improvements rolled in as you grow.
Cancel anytime, month to month. Optional, never required. The person who built it is the person who maintains it.
Questions
Do I have to be a build client to get a plan?
Not necessarily. If your site is on a stack I can support, I can often take over maintenance. If it is a tangle of plugins on an old platform, a rebuild may be the better path, and the audit will tell us.
What counts as a content edit?
Updating hours or prices, swapping a photo, adding a page, fixing a typo, posting an event. Basic includes ten a month; Pro is unlimited within reason. Bigger feature work is quoted separately.
What happens if my site goes down?
A static site rarely does, but if hosting hiccups, uptime monitoring usually catches it before you notice and daily backups make recovery quick. On Pro you also get priority turnaround.
Can I cancel?
Yes, anytime. The plans are month to month. No lock-in, because the work should keep earning the relationship.
